PUNTA GORDA — A Labelle man is facing felony charges in Charlotte County, accused of stealing a gun from a car in a Punta Gorda neighborhood in 2025.
Guillermo Alejandro Chavarria, 21, of Labelle, was charged this week with burglary while armed and grand theft of a firearm.
A resident of Willow Road in Punta Gorda reported the theft of a pistol from an unlocked pickup on Oct. 16, 2025. The pistol was a .45 caliber Kimber Ultra CDP I semi-automatic. A magazine containing seven rounds of .45 ammunition was also stolen, the report states…
