Two real estate investment firms — one based in Punta Gorda, the other in Miami — have acquired Fishermen’s Village in Charlotte County. Harborview Capital Group and Torose Equities purchased the 22.8-acre property for $43 million, according to a statement.
“Harborview and I were pursuing this deal separately before concluding we would be better positioned together,” Scott Sherman, founder and principal of Miami-based Torose Equities, says in a statement. “Their local knowledge combined with our experience executing complex value-add repositionings is what got this across the finish line.”
