More than 30,000 pounds of trash cleaned up from Port Charlotte wooded areas

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.

Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office along with other organizations cleaned up more than 30,000 pounds of trash from wooded areas in Port Charlotte.

According to a post from CCSO, members of their Community Police Unit, Charlotte County Public Works, Keep Charlotte County Beautiful and the department of corrections spent time around Cedarwood Street, Lullaby Street, Spear Street and Kenesaw Street.
