FORT MYERS, Fla. —
After a few lingering showers, mostly dry weather is expected overnight as lows settle to the middle 70s.
A change in our weather pattern is expected Thursday, as drier air will begin to move into the area. This drier air will limit thunderstorm and rain coverage Thursday afternoon. Increasing sunshine will help to warm afternoon highs near 90 degrees. An isolated shower is still possible; however, coverage will be limited.
A developing area of low pressure off the Eastern Seaboard will help to drive drier and slightly cooler air down the state. This will help to make for comfortable and pleasant weather over the weekend and limit rain coverage…
