SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Charlotte County man charged with shooting another man to death in a Sarasota hotel, claims “Stand Your Ground” defense. Attorney’s for Brennan Wakey submitted the motion to drop charges against him this week. The motion claims the victim and Wakey got into a fight when the shooting happened.
