PUNTA GORDA — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is currently on-scene for a death investigation near Trails End Drive.
Authorities confirmed two people died in a shooting.
CCSO spokesperson Chris Hall said no more information will be revealed “at this time.”
Trails End is a rural road near Washington Loop Road.
The deaths were reported at 12:47 p.m.
The CCSO phone app issued an alert announcing the investigation at 2:32 p.m. on Wednesday.
