The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says 80 people have been arrested following a drug bust partnership with the DEA.
At a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Carmine Marceno announced that the county-wide “Operation Zero Chill” led to the arrests.
The sheriff says in addition, their investigation uncovered the following:
- 2,000 various pills
- 2 kilograms of cocaine
- a kilogram of fentanyl
- 13 firearms
- Almost $100,000
