First of many LCSO deputies now equipped with body-worn cameras

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Only a few months after the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO)announced they purchased 615 body-worn cameras, several deputies are now equipped with them. In October, Sheriff Carmine Marceno said the rollout of the Motorola V700 LTE cameras would be a three-part process: phase one would involve training, phase two would involve deployment, and phase three would involve follow-up.
