FORT MYERS, Fla. – A 75-year-old taxi driver was attacked while trying to drop off two passengers in Iona on Wednesday. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the taxi driver responded to the scene of a traffic stop where the driver was being arrested for a DUI by the Sanibel Police Department.
