‘Show me a ticket,’ driver insists when asked for license after parking in own driveway – but he quickly regretted it

A COUPLE had been pulled over by a police officer for a traffic violation, and ended up in the backseat of a cruiser.

As is common sense, when breaking a traffic law outside of a gated community, a person can be pulled over and cited at their place of residence.

“The golf cart was multiple cars in front of the officer, and before he could get close, the golf cart turned into a gated community,” the caption of the video read.

The issue arose when the officer pulled into their driveway to ask for identification, and the man got confrontational, saying that he did not have to legally provide identification.

After some banter, the man demanded that the officer call in a supervisor – which the officer patiently warned that it would turn the situation into something far uglier than if he simply provided his ID.

The man told the officer to get off of his property, and the officer reminded him that the property belonged to the HOA, so the officer was well within legal parameters to park there.
