SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Florida Highway Patrol says Robert Knowlton was already fleeing one crash when he caused another, killing a man before driving off yet again. After the first crash, Knowlton, whose license had been revoked, sped away. FHP says he flew through a red light without stopping, plowing into two cars trying to make left turns, striking one on the driver’s side and crashing into the front of another, sending all three cars spinning.
