Thirty 2023-2024 Lee County Golden Apple Teacher finalists announced by schools foundation

Thirty Lee County public school teachers were announced Friday as 2023-2024 finalists in the annual Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Program.

The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools hosted the formal announcement at a celebration attended by the finalists, business leaders, school board members and educators.

The finalists are:

  • Dr. Katherine Callard – Dr. Carrie D. Robinson Littleton Elementary

  • Chelsea Chase – Bayshore Elementary
  • Paul Chilson – Pinewoods Elementary
  • Suzanne Garrett – Veterans Park Academy for the Arts
