CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Residents of Southwest Cape Coral have reported an uptick in coyote activity in the area recently and some neighbors have even caught them on cam. The increased presence of coyotes in the area is attributed to their mating season, which may explain why people are encountering or hearing these creatures more frequently. They are especially active during the night and early morning hours.
