Hit-and-run driver injures 21-year-old Fort Myers man Sunday; FHP seeks public’s help

State police troopers are asking the public to help identify a hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian in Lee County.

They say a 2017-2019 black Honda Civic hit a 20-year-old Fort Myers man along State Road 80 (Palm Beach Boulevard) at 2:50 a.m. Sunday and did not stop, Florida Highway Patrol reported in a news release.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
