Lee County’s Cold Weather Defense: Uniting Community & Heroes

By Richard Luthmann

As Arctic air grips the nation, Lee County leaps into action with its proactive Cold Weather Outreach Plan, showcasing a unified effort to safeguard its residents against the chill. Partnering across various sectors, the county’s severe weather teams are set to deploy, offering warmth and shelter to those in need with an arsenal of cold weather essentials and support services. Today, from 3 to 5 p.m., the mobilization targets several strategic locations, ensuring access to the Bob Janes Empowerment Center for those battling the elements.
