1. Edison Festival of Light Junior Parade
This smaller version of the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade features kids and their families smiling and waving from floats, wagons, marching bands and more. More than 100 units participate in what’s billed as Florida’s largest youth parade. 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. Free. The parade starts at First and Monroe streets in downtown Fort Myers. 2. Bonita Holiday Fair
This annual fair usually happens in December, but organizers have moved it to February this year. The fair boasts more than 30 amusement rides, including a more than 100-foot-tall Ferris wheel. Plus games, prizes, fair food, a large Kiddieland area, racing pigs, a magician and a petting zoo. Feb. 9-19. $10 admission (two-for-one with online coupon). Rides cost extra.
