PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – As we continue celebrating Black History Month, today we’re taking you to Punta Gorda, where a museum sits as a memory of the city’s pioneers. The Blanchard House was transformed to show local kids who they are and where they come from. Despite major damage from Hurricane Ian, leaders at the museum aren’t letting the closed sign stop them from spreading the importance of their history.
