Music lovers will find the next couple of weeks are filled with entertainment in outdoor venues throughout Lee County. A few that you won’t want to miss include the second Rhythm on the River: Roaring 20s Jazz Band, on Feb. 23 at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers. The concert will take place on the historic Ford lawn along the Caloosahatchee River with beautiful views and, if the weather cooperates, a spectacular sunset.
The concert features Liz “Honey” Heath and a five-piece band. Heath sings professionally throughout Florida and currently performs with Nightbird, a Stevie Nicks tribute. The band members joining her are Jay Heavilin on upright bass, Brad Brown on piano, Steve Silverstein on drums, and Jay Heath on saxophone. More info and tickets at EdisonFord.org
