FORT MYERS, Fla. – The NBC2 First Alert Hurricane Tracking team is tracking Hurricane Beryl as it nears landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. The storm has weakened to a Category 2 hurricane with winds sustained at 110 mph. The forward speed has slowed slightly toward the west northwest at 15 mph.
