SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Saturday brought a few thunderstorms, but only 0.07″ at SRQ, 0.22″ at Lakewood Ranch, while Punta Gorda topped out at 1.02″. From Sunday into the coming week much drier air moves in taking thunderstorm chances way down. Surface dew points will drop to the low 70s by the end of the week with a more comfortable feel outside.
