PORT CHARLOTTE — Authorities are urging people to be careful driving in Charlotte County following more heavy rains that flooded streets.
“Please use caution in the areas near Harbor Blvd / Midway Blvd and the entire length of Beacon Ave in Port Charlotte,” the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office stated on social media.
The areas are “impassable” on Tuesday night.
“Please avoid these areas and do not drive through any standing water,” it stated. “More areas in Port Charlotte are likely affected by this weather.”
