Video Shows Alligator Emerge From Hurricane Milton Flood, Attack Vehicle

A video shared online shows an alligator emerging from the floodwaters of Hurricane Milton in Fort Myers, Florida.

The video, which was provided to NBC 2 News by the North Fort Myers Sanitation, shows a truck driving through floodwaters before an alligator jumps out and bites at its front tire and door.

“That was a big f**king alligator that just bit our tire!” he yelled, according to the New York Post .

Initial deaths have been confirmed and more than 3 million Florida residents are reported to have lost power amid Hurricane Milton’s devastation . At least four residents of St. Lucie County, which is located along Florida’s Atlantic coast, were confirmed to have died as a result from tornadoes in the area, NBC News reports.

“Numerous homes and structures across St. Lucie County, including the City of Port St. Lucie and unincorporated areas, suffered significant damage,” county officials said.

An estimated 3,345,323 Florida residents were reported to be without power Thursday (October 10) morning, according to PowerOutage.us . Tampa officials also confirmed that the city received more than 100 emergency calls Thursday morning, which included reports of fires, trees falling on homes, downed power lines, minor medical issues and fire alarms.
