Tropical Storm Leslie to curve away from U.S., area to monitor in eastern Atlantic

FORT MYERS, Fla. – With 50 days left in the Atlantic hurricane season, the Atlantic basin remains active but there are no threats to the U.S. at this time. Tropical Storm Leslie will curve northeast away from the U.S. in the coming days and is expected to lose its tropical characteristics by the end of the weekend.
