ENGLEWOOD — HCA Florida Englewood Hospital reopened its hospital and emergency room operations, HCA officials announced.
The hospital is prepared to treat patients needing care for everything from post-storm and recovery illnesses and injuries to major emergency and acute care needs.
Outpatient rehabilitation and wound care services will reopen Tuesday, it stated.
The hospital transferred 21 patients to HCA Florida Healthcare facilities throughout the state before Hurricane Milton arrived in the region. A patient reunification number was set up to help patients connect with their loved ones at 844-482-4821.
• HCA Fawcett Memorial Hospital and the HCA in Port Charlotte also is open.
• HCA Florida Tamiami Trail Emergency center is open.
• ShorePoint Port Charlotte Hospital is open.
• ShorePoint Punta Gorda Hospital was closed as of Saturday.
• Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, SMH-Venice and the freestanding Sarasota Memorial ER in North Port remained open during the storm and remain open.
