A new FEMA Disaster Recovery Center has been established to help residents of Charlotte County. Located at the South County Regional Park Recreation Center at 670 Cooper St. in Punta Gorda, the center is now operational. It is designed to serve as a hub for post-disaster support and will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, according to the Charlotte County.
