Nov. 1 turned out to be a memorable day for George Lukas.
It was not only the two-year anniversary celebration of his Cape Coral restaurant, but two special guests also dropped by.
In the area for a fundraising gala, Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter , and his wife Francie dined at Prime 239 Steakhouse , 1715 Cape Coral Parkway W, on Friday.
“I used to watch his show,” George said. “He was really nice.”
Dog even took the time to shoot a quick video message.
“If you ever want a place to come that’s really good food and it’s not that expensive, come to Prime 239,” Chapman said in the video. “And tell them Dog sent you.”
“This is the best steak, so come eat here,” added Francie, who’s also in the video along with George’s wife Lindsay Lukas.
The Chapmans were there with eight others.
“(The Chapmans) didn’t drink, but the table loved the Fall Fashion,” George said referring to one of five new Autumn drinks at Prime 239. It’s a blend of apple cinnamon-infused Four Roses Bourbon, house-made brown sugar apple syrup and smoked bitters.
