Fan of pho? Thirsty for boba? Craving a banh-mi?
We’ve got good news for you.
Not one, not two, but three fast-casual Vietnamese-focused restaurants have popped up in Fort Myers within a week of one another.
Whether it’s menu items, decor or vibe, each is different.
Paris Banh Mi
Louis Nguyen used to eat at this popular chain’s original location in Orlando.
“I always thought it would be nice to open one here,” he said. “It has been in bigger cities, but I wanted to bring one here.”
And he did. On Dec. 1 he and co-owner Vu Le opened their location at The Shops At Village Walk off Six Mile Cypress Parkway, south of Colonial Boulevard.
When he decided to open the franchise here, “there were no Vietnamese restaurants here.”
“You would have to go out of town,” he said. “I wanted to make mine special. I spent a lot of time on the details. It’s not just about banh mi. It’s about the atmosphere.”
You can see it in the Eiffel Tower replica that stands front and center upon entering and in the inviting comfortable spaces all around the shop. It’s sleek, cool and clean.
