SENIOR LIVING SATISFACTION South Port Square celebrates anniversary, high ratings

PORT CHARLOTTE — Las Vegas got a lot closer to Charlotte County recently. At least for one facility.

South Port Square celebrated its anniversary, hosting Casino Night for its residents.

According to a news release, the community was recreated for the night by a professional casino company that treated the senior living facility to a night of fun and games.

“The evening took place in the community’s Town Hall, where residents tried their luck in poker, blackjack, roulette and other casino favorites,” a news release stated. “Beyond the gaming tables, other areas of South Port Square, including The Village, Bistro, and Gables East, hosted additional entertainment and refreshments.”

An Elvis impersonator was considered a highlight, while the event also included live music and a magician, it stated.

“This event is part of South Port Square’s ongoing efforts to create memorable experiences for residents and maintain an active, engaging community,” South Port Square Executive Director Brian Hess stated in the news release. “We couldn’t have celebrated our 37th anniversary in a better way. Events like these foster a sense of excitement and adventure, showing how our community goes beyond traditional senior living activities.”
