Addiel Herrera, 56, is accused of barging into the home following a verbal argument. The victim reportedly closed their garage and locked their doors to get away from Herrera.
According to the sheriff’s office, Herrera went into his own home, grabbed a knife, and began banging on his neighbor’s door.
When the neighbor opened the door, Herrera “slashed at the victim,” injuring her hand. Deputies said the victim was able to push Herrera out of their door, where he stabbed the knife into the woman’s door several times.
