ENGLEWOOD — Mr. Swindle’s Traveling Peculiarium and Drink-Ory Garden returns to Englewood, Sarasota and Punta Gorda.
Under the big top, audiences will see classic vintage amusement, live acrobats, comedy and unexpected surprises.
“This show isn’t just an escape; it’s an all-out overload on the senses,” said Allison Blei, co-producer, in a news release. “It’s an intoxicating mix of laughter and jaw-dropping astonishment that gets under your skin, leaving a lasting impression and images you simply can’t forget. Patrons tell us they’ve laughed until they cried, and many leave with sore cheeks from laughing so hard.”
New performers this year include:
• “What Goes Around” — Performed by Yunier Padron Morales and Diana Nikuliceva. A dynamic duo performance integrating dance, roller-skates, high speed spinning and thrills.
• “Tied up” — A mesmerizing fusion of artistry and incredible pain tolerance, this act features Cheryl Birch suspended high in the air, relying solely on the strength of her hair.
