Decades after their deaths, an ex-Florida deputy admitted killing his wife and a store clerk

In August 1979, a Florida sheriff’s deputy told authorities that his wife fatally shot herself at their home south of Tampa. A few months later, the same patrol deputy, John Greer, said he discovered the body of another woman – a store clerk who’d been fatally shot.
