Slow play sparks attack against 79-year-old at Florida golf course, deputies say

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A North Port man was arrested this month after he attacked an elderly person at a golf course after he was called out for playing too slowly, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

In an arrest report, deputies said they were called to the attack at The Cove of Rotanda Golf Center on April 18 shortly before 3 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies said they found the man — identified as Aaron Carbo, 24 — standing by his vehicle with a bloody mouth…
