PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WWSB) – Ryan Cole, accused of killing a 15-year-old boy in September 2019 in Charlotte County while the teen was protecting his 5-year-old sister, was found guilty Friday of first-degree murder.
The jury in the trial in Charlotte County Circuit Court also found Cole guilty of armed burglary with an assault or battery.
The State Attorney’s Office is seeking the death penalty against Cole; his sentencing is set for later this month…
