A Texas tourist visiting Florida returned home with far more than just vacation memories after purchasing a winning lottery ticket worth $1 million from a Walmart Supercenter in Cape Coral.

David Le, a resident of Katy, Texas, claimed his prize in the Florida Lottery’s “$1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular” scratch-off game, lottery officials announced May 2.

Vacation Purchase Leads to Windfall

“He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00,” according to Fox News . The 30-year-old tourist purchased the winning ticket at the Walmart Liquor Box located at 1619 Del Prado Boulevard South.
