Tiger Woods celebrates hole-in-one at 108th Florida Amateur, but not with Charlie Woods

Estero’s Jake Sherwin caught a Tiger on June 7.

Sherwin, playing at the 108th Florida Amateur, was grouped with Charlie Woods for the third round and dropped a hole-in-one at the par 4 fourth hole at the BallenIsles Country Club East Course in West Palm Beach.

Watching the whole scene was Charlie’s dad Tiger, who celebrated with the former Florida Gulf Coast standout by taking a photo.

“It was such a surreal moment going over to pick the ball up and taking the pictures with Tiger,” Sherwin told a Florida State Golf Association communications official. “It is a moment I am going to remember for the rest of my life. To be able to get a hole-in-one in front of Tiger Woods is just something you dream about, and sure enough, I lived it.”…
