PUNTA GORDA — Robert Bare already paid a $590 fine for an alleged tall-grass violation but was excused for having 20 cardboard boxes stacked outside his Punta Gorda home.
Bare told the Punta Gorda Code Enforcement Board why he didn’t believe he is a repeat violator due to circumstances beyond his control.
According to the code enforcement, Bare was cited July 29, Nov. 27, Feb. 25 and May 12. He allegedly violated the city code for tall grass exceeding 12 inches and outside storage…
