K-9 unit busts deported ‘violent dealer’ with cocaine in traffic stop

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A K-9 unit unveiled a stash of 96 grams of cocaine during a routine traffic stop, leading to the arrest of a previously deported and “violent drug dealer” with a criminal history.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said that on Wednesday, they conducted a routine traffic stop.

During the traffic stop, a K-9 unit alerted LCSO’s Tactical Narcotics Team to 96 grams of cocaine inside the driver’s center console…
