PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County Economic Development has announced Isaac James, executive director of the Military Heritage Museum, as its 40 Under 40 honoree for August.
James is recognized for helping to revitalize the Gulf Theater into a destination for live performance, connecting students with veterans to make history come alive, and strengthening the county’s quality of life and economy.
“Public service means giving back to the community and being part of something bigger than yourself … doing the work and trying to make a difference in people’s lives,” James said in a media statement.
