Miami detective identifies Lee County trio in Wynwood burglary with 3 victims, records show

MIAMI — After Clifford Saint-Pierre pistol-whipped a man in the head when he broke into an apartment in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, the gun fired — a stray bullet pierced through the front door and a neighbor’s apartment’s front door — wounding a man who had just gotten up from his couch, according to an arrest warrant.

Saint-Pierre, 23, and two other burglars covered their faces, so another neighbor couldn’t tell who had “shoved him to the ground” in the hallway, “dragged” him inside the burglary victim’s apartment, and shot him in the left leg before he managed to run away to get help, according to an arrest warrant.

The three victims survived the chaos on June 12 at the Highley House apartment complex, at 2150 North Miami Ave., and Saint-Pierre and Brian Miles, two out of three suspects, faced felony charges on Thursday in Miami-Dade County, records show…
