A woman who could not swim sprang into action to help save an 11-year-old girl, who was drowning at a park in Florida.
Mia Garcia was collecting shells at Lakes Park in Fort Myers on Saturday, Sept. 6, when she slipped into the water. This happened around 10am and her family had always taught her to scream for help if she’s ever in trouble. She knows how to swim but was struggling to get out of the water due to slimy rocks.
