Heads up, drivers—Charlotte County’s Public Works Department has announced a temporary road closure that might put a kink in your commute next week. Achilles Street is getting a pipe installation and will be sealed off between Burlingame Avenue and Fitzpatrick Avenue. The closure will take effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and will repeat on Wednesday, Oct. 8, so you’ll need to plan your detours accordingly.
