FORT MYERS — Broadway Palm director/choreographer Amy Marie McCleary has brought the Broadway musical “Pretty Woman,” based on the film of the same name, to Southwest Florida with all the style of the film combined with the live action of the Broadway show.
From the costumes by John P. White, sets by Robert Kovach and music direction by Loren Strickland, this version of “Pretty Woman” was as good as the prime rib entree offered each Friday and Saturday at the dinner theater.
With Max Lynch as Vivian and Robert Tait as Edward, the chemistry in this story is nearly what it was in the film. Lynch, who recently starred as Elsa in “Frozen” aboard Disney Cruise Lines, and Tait, a Denver-based actor, there was great chemistry — but with the bonus of Errol Service Jr., who plays Happy Man, Mr. Thompson and Mr. Hollister…
