Mike and Dawn Miller have announced that Saturday, November 8th will be the official grand opening of The Whale, 37 months after Hurricane Ian destroyed the old restaurant.
The Miller’s purchased the popular beach hangout months before the storm and have been working on rebuilding for several years. They also purchased the Tuckaway Cafe property about 1 mile south on Estero Boulevard and will reopen that building as Sandy Bottom, which includes a large outdoor tiki bar.
