Cape Coral police arrest second suspect in vehicle burglary spree

CAPE CORAL, Florida — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries and property crimes that occurred earlier this year, according to the Cape Coral Police Department. Jaydin Chase Kempton, age 18, was taken into custody without incident at North Nicholas High School on October 20, 2025.

Kempton, of Cape Coral, Florida, faces multiple charges, including Burglary of a Conveyance, Criminal Mischief, Dealing in Stolen Property, and Petit Theft. The charges stem from investigations into vehicle burglaries reported on June 22, 2025, in the area of Northeast 2nd Place.
