FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Cape Coral man who was charged for the murder of his mother is scheduled to return to court in December after his attorney appeared on his behalf on Monday.
Detectives say the murder happened last month on Sept. 16. on Jacaranda Parkway in Cape Coral. Devin Johnson, 28, is accused of stabbing his 69-year-old mother, Rosemary Johnson, more than 100 times.
