The School District of Lee County has received a large donation to support the creation of “safe and welcoming spaces for young learners.”
The Suncoast Credit Union Foundation has gifted $301,600 to the Lee County school district. The district hopes to help furnish on-site childcare centers at facilities across the school district, according to a press release by the School District of Lee County.
