The Air Show is a go!

The Florida International Air Show (FIAS) board of directors announced that the 2025 event will go on as planned, regardless of the ongoing federal government shutdown. While the board continues to monitor the situation closely, and the shutdown could end at any time, a comprehensive contingency plan has been developed should the U.S. Navy Blue Angels or the F-16 Viper Demo Team be unable to perform.

To ensure fans continue to experience an unforgettable air show weekend, the board has secured one of the nation’s top civilian jet performers, Randy Ball, flying the legendary MiG-17 Jet Fighter, joined by a second MiG-17 jet fighter — making this year’s event one of the most thrilling lineups in FIAS history.

In addition, veteran air show performer Matt Younkin and his breathtaking Twin-Engine Beechcraft routine are also on standby and ready to take to the skies if needed…
