The 35th American Sand Sculpting Championship will happen Nov. 20-24 at the DiamondHead Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach. Over 20 sculptors from across the globe are expected to compete at the expanded site.
The contest returns to the resort for its second year after a two-year gap caused by Hurricane Ian. Last year’s event beat attendance predictions, according to Neil Hopgood, general manager at DiamondHead Beach Resort.
