LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Zaxby’s of Lee County has announced that kids will be able to eat for free at its locations in the county as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits face possible delays due to the government shutdown.
“We recognize that we are experiencing unusual times,” a Facebook post by one of Zaxby’s locations in the county said. “This is not about politics but making sure we are doing what we can to help.”
Any child who visits a Zaxby’s location in Lee County will receive one free kids’ meal a day, with no additional purchase necessary. The child has to be with a parent or guardian, and the meal is dine-in only…
