DEEP CREEK — On Halloween night, Sawyer Ghee saved his 1-year-old daughter and wife from getting hit by a truck before the truck hit him.
“On Halloween night, our son Sawyer was walking with his wife Iz and their baby in a stroller. He heard an engine spool up behind them,” family members wrote on his GoFundMe site. “In a single reflex, Sawyer shoved the stroller — and Iz — out of the truck’s path. The truck hit him.”
